QuestionI am 33 years old and i am overweight. I am 5'4 and weigh 170lbs. I am wanting to diet and am not for sure what diet to choose. I need a workout, should I just got to the YMCA and bike and treadmill or should a whole body work out be a better solution.
AnswerHello Christy!
Thank you for your nutrition question. Working out at your local YMCA is a great way to lose weight because the bike and treadmill are excellent calorie burners. Working out on the bike and treadmill for 3 times a week for at least 15-20 minutues can do wonders.
The other thing I would suggest is eating small frequent meals which are rich in fruits, vegetables, and "whole grains".If you eat more plant based foods and less sugar/empty calorie foods the weight will gradually come off. There is a great supplement on my website http://www.juiceblend.com which can help your body burn calories more efficiently. It is called Juice Plus and contains the nutrients from different fruits and vegetables. Why not give it a try for 4 months and see the results? Let me know if you have more questions.
