QuestionHi, my names Kris and I have some questions about my diet that I should choose. Im only 19 years old and have some semi serious stomach problems. After I eat a meal I usually get a good amount of gas and burb a lot. I also get some acid coming up my throat and it doesnt feel good. I have eaten smaller meals and I still get the problem. I have taken gas pills and it still does not help. I was wondering what kind of diet I should be on so that I can reduce the gas and feel healthier. What kind of diet should I use and how often should I exersise. I seen that the amount of carbs in a normal diet is a lot higher than protien. Should I eat a higher amount of protien in my diet or what? Please contact me so that I can do the right thing.
Thank you,
AnswerHI Kris,
All the protein you can use is one serving a day, say a piece of meat the size of your fist. Have lots of quality carbs, like whole grains, fresh produce. What to do differently: do not eat protein and carbs at the same time, put 3 hours between them. Protein is digested by acids, carbs by alkalis, they do not get along.
