The answer depends on your husbands risk for cardiovascular disease. If he is at 搈oderate?risk, then an LDL of 115 is fine. If he is at 揾igh?risk, then his LDL should be below 100.
A person is at 揾igh?risk of cardiovascular disease (or complications of cardiovascular disease) if they have ANY ONE of the following:
1. Documented cardiovascular disease (heart attack, stroke, angioplasty, bypass, angina, peripheral vascular disease, claudication, carotid artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm, etc.)
2. Diabetes
