im currently working out and also using slim fast. i have lost 15 pounds in about 7 weeks. anyways my question is do i subtract my workout calories that i have burnt from my calories that i have ate. i am counting calories. suggested intake for me is 1300 a day. please explain to me why or why not i should subtract those. thanks in advance

Hi Crystal,

Don't bother, it is a lot of hooey. Your metabolism, the rate at which you burn calories, changes with your moods, stresses, how much AND WHAT you eat, etc.

The problem with stuff like slim fast is 98% of those who do manage to lose weight on empty diets gain it all and often 25 % within 2 years.
