QuestionGood Morning!
I'm looking for any helpful information that would maybe explain to me why I cant seem to slim down. Just to give you an idea: I am a med. frame, 25yr. old woman, I'm 5'3 and I weigh 162lbs. I do have a job were I sit all day but as soon as I'm home I'm constantly on the go until bed time. I eat 2 pieces of toast, lightly butterd in the morning for breakfast, a Lean Cuisine for lunch, and a small dinner, which I always eat before 7. ( I dont get home until 6)
I had my Thyroid checked along with Cholesterol and Triglycerides, and everything is absolutley normal.
I just cant understand what the problem is? The only time I can loose weight is if I only eat one meal a day, which is not healthy and I'm just robbing my body of the nutrients it needs. I try to stay away from diet pills, but Phentermine is the only that has worked in the past, unfortunately my body adjusted to them after 3 weeks so I just gained it all back.
I understand that I'm not obese or anything, but carrying around this extra 30lbs has really taken a toll on my life. All I do is cry when I look in the mirror anymore. It is depressing and has really beaten up my mental state of mind. I'm on a desperate search to find someone who could help me, or would just have words of wisdom.
Any information you have or you feel would maybe benefit me would greatly be appreciated.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
Sincerely;
Rebecca
AnswerRebecca,
My suggestion would be to find a dietitian you can work with one-on-one. I can't tell you WHY you are not losing weight without working with you to find out a lot more specific information!
I do offer online services as www.Nutrifocus.net. Or you can check out www.eatright.org to find a dietitian in your area. A dietitian can sit down with you and do a complete history and help you devise a plan that can help you to lose weight and eat healthy!
