Questionhi, im 15 years old and im 5'1" and right now im at about 135
pounds. ive been taking nitetrim, which has been really good at
suppressing my appetite. i eat about 900 calories a day. i dont
know if thats good or bad considering the fact that i dont work out
ever. so can you please help me?
AnswerDear Sapphira, If you are only eating 900 calories per day you should already be losing weight. Nine hundred calories per day is considered a very low calorie diet and usually does not contain enough protein and other nutrients for a growing teen. A healthier way to lose weight is to eat 1500-1800 calories per day of all healthy foods and do thirty minutes of walking or some other exercise every day.
Only take the Niterim if it is approved for children and teens, most diet supplements are not approved for people under 18 years old. Read the label carefully. Laura Kraemer, Slimkids.com
