Question
Are nuts part of a healthy diet for overweight/ obese Americans?

Answer
Whoops! I hit a wrong button a moment ago.

YES - nuts are a part of EVERY healthy diet (except when someone's allergic).
In fact, published, HONEST medical studies have repeatedly shown that people who eat peanut butter and/or a handful of (any) nuts a week, are LESS likely to be overweight than people who don't. And, making it even better, people who are overweight and start adding nuts to their regular diet, lose more weight than those on the same regimen, but not eating nuts!

The important part is to limit it to a palm-sized portion, just twice a week. Peanut butter should be limited to 1-2 table spoons (measure it out) once a day or once every-other day.

Enjoy!
