QuestionI started a new diet about a month ago, and so far the results have been just what I was looking for (a little bit of weight loss with a substantial amount of fat loss). Now my wife wants to join me in the diet.
As part of the diet, I eat a lean protein and complex carb every meal. Unfortunately, my wife doesn't like eggs or milk (my two primary sources of protein in the mornings). Do you have any suggestions as to ways that my wife could keep up her protein intake the first half of the day? I hate to have her make chicken or steak, as I'm almost certain she would have that during the second half of the day.
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.
AnswerHello Chris,
Your wife can fullfill her protein needs in the morning with a hard boiled egg or a protein fruit smoothie. There is a product called "Complete" made from soy protein that comes in different flavors that would be perfect for her. It also contains many important nutrients. She can add a couple of tablespoons of the "Complete" to her fruit smoothie every morning and it would satisfy her protein needs for the day. It is also quite delicious. She can purchase it at my website www.juiceblend.com
