QuestionI'm 17, 5'5 and weigh 122. I've lost 5 pounds by cutting out junk food and getting more exercise and I'd like to lose another 5. However, I've never had a set plan, so to speak. What are what is a plan I can use in deciding what to eat and what not to eat so I can lose those last extra pounds and maintain my weight afterwards? Thank you so much for any help.

AnswerKali,
At 5'5" and 122# you are already at a healthy weight. My recommendation is to just concentrate on maintaining a healthy weight instead of worrying about losing weight! You don't need a set "plan". All you need to do is eat healthier the majority of the time and exercise regularly. Also, be sure to include plenty of water daily! You need to live a healthy lifestyle, that is the plan! You need to do things you will do for the rest of your life so that you stay healthy and stay at a healthy weight. Adopting good habits now is so important so that you will carry them throughout life!! Check out www.mypyramid.gov to get more info on eating healthy including what to eat!
