QuestionI have an awful time trying not to eat at night. I have cheese and other snacks. I have tried to go without but have not been sucessful. What can I do to stop my cravings?
AnswerDear Jackie, I have the same problem. What I now do is count the evening snack as a small meal. If you eat smaller meals during the day, that nigh time snack is just your last meal. If you eat a lot during the day, then really eat a big snack at night, you will gain weight. But 5 smaller meals will allow the body to burn the calories off even at rest. If you don't want to go the low calorie meal route, then switch to low calorie snacks.
Measure all your calories and try to limit your snack to healthy popcorn, sugar free jello, or some other low calorie snack under 100 calories. I wish there were words of wisdowm to stop your cravings, but there are not. Laura Kraemer,Slimkids.com
