QuestionBoth my wife & I are Vitimins takers and Soy eaters as well as flax takers & watch what we eat as to meat(not much) sugar & exercise & so on. Question is what do you suggest after Breast Cancer. Is soy good. The rate of breast cancer for Asians & in Japoan for women is low & they eats loads of Soy. You hear good/bad about it & our Drs. say only good. As to flax I hear only good & the same with omega 3(fish oil, but to balance it with not too much omega 6. As to the prostate some say no to soy, my Dr says yes! We want to do the best mainly for my wife who will have a breast cancer operation next month & we want the best diet, vits, supplements as well as exercises so any insight you can lend would be most appreciated. THANKS in advance for your reply!
AnswerThere are many opinions and theories when it comes to soy and breast cancer! All I can do is give you some good references so that you can make your own decisions. My other suggestion would be to talk with your wife's oncologist about your concerns and ask for their recommendations. A dietitian that specializes in oncology is also another option.
