tangerines

Question
Are tangerines nutritionally equivalent to oranges? Are they close enough to substitute for oranges?

Answer
Hello Steven!

Tangerines and oranges are nutritionally equivalent. They are from the same family of fruits but differ in their size, shape and skin. Oranges are usually juicier. You can subsitute them in your diet if you wish. They are both great sources of vitamin C.
