If I ate only 900 calories a day and exercise two hours a day in the gym, can I do a significant amount of weight in a month if I don't cheat?

The latest diet or cleansing fast, some popular plan sweeping the media and hawked by a movie star - have one thing in common:  99% of them will not work.  By 憌orking?it means that weight loss is actually excess fat and that it stays off for at least 1 year, preferably 2.  What actually results from these gimmicks is a fluid weight loss that may be accompanied by some actual fat loss, but within days or weeks of stopping the plan not only does the lost weight return, but 20% more accompanies it.

Repeat dieters tend to be in the majority of overweight individuals.

There is absolutely no reason to need to 慶leanse?the body with a fast of any kind.  The human liver (the largest organ in the body) does a spectacular job of this on a daily basis.  Fasts may actually complicate this process and cause a 憇ludge?that is known to cause gallstones and other problems.  

Perhaps the best advice I could ever offer anyone is to consider the ulterior motives behind some of the products and plans circulating out there.  Yes, even medical doctors can put profit ahead of someone抯 life.

Still, I抳e done it all, thinking that 憈his one will work?or the next time I lose 5 lbs, I抣l keep it off and keep going.  Year after year I would convince myself that I抎 be different, that I抎 be the one this worked for.  The diet/weight loss industry makes more than $40 billion dollars per year on false hopes, deceptive advertising and people looking for quick fixes.  

The truth is, if someone is overweight, it didn抰 happen in a month, so expecting it to correct itself in a month is like believing in fairies and flying elephants.

The truth is, by eating correctly, regularly and just adding some extra steps to the day by parking further away in the parking lots, making extra trips, getting up off the chair more often and eliminating mindless eating - there抯 no need to give up favorite foods or treats - and the weight will come off!
