Thank you for your nutrition question. I would not recommend recommend having breakfast before exercise however, I do recommend a healthy snack such as a piece of fruit like an apple or orange. The reasoning behind not eating breakfast before a workout is that whatever you eat would sit in your stomach only slowing you down. However,the foods you consumed the night before have already been converted to glycogen stored in muscles and liver for energy. Your body then will break down the stored glycogen gradually to supply the energy necessary.
