AnswerSure it is OK. Dinner does not need to be your last meal. You just need to be careful of what and how much you eat. If sitting down in front of the TV after dinner and snacking all night long is a problem area than you may not want to eat after dinner. If that is NOT a problem for you then an evening snack is fine. It just needs to be added into your daily totals! It doesn't matter how many hours you eat something before going to sleep UNLESS you suffer from heartburn or reflux! In that case you don't want to eat right before bedtime! It is a myth that eating before bed causes weight gain. That is only true if you do the all night snacking or take in too many calories in unhealthy foods! But that would effect weight no matter what time of day you ate it!
Just stick to healthier snacks, throughout the entire day! Don't do the mindless eating in front of the TV!
