Nutrition for a freshman

Hi

I am going to begin working out and running again after hurting my shoulder and not working out for about 3 and a half months.  I have been eating a lot and im a little over weight i would say.  6 foot 175 pounds.  I am a freshman in college so im eating all the time.  I just need some guidance on waht to eat and how much to eat.  Im eating too much fast food for one thing.  Any guidance would be appreciated thanks
