QuestionI am a 14 year old girl who does TaeKwonDo (I am a serious competitor and I train 4 times a week, three 2 hour sessions during the week and a 3 hour session on saturdays) We do aerobic and anaerobic and strength training. I am 5'3, 108 lbs. Lately I have started to get "love handles" just under my waist and some fat on my inner thighs and my butt. I know I excercise well, but I think my food habits are starting to catch up with me :D I have cereal for breakfast and a healthy lunch, but I get really really hungry after school and tend to binge on anything sweet. Is there a snack I can have that will make me less hungry? I have a smoothie, but it doesn't really help with the hunger.
AnswerDear Lise, Some healthy low calorie snacks are: vegetables with low fat dip, pickles, low sugar yogurt, low sugar jello, whole fruit, low fat cheese, and any high protein food like deviled eggs and tuna fish. Hope that helps, Laura Kraemer, Slimkids.com
