QuestionQUESTION: I have a problem eating enough fresh vegetables! Is a glass vegetable juice an
acceptable substitute? I drink a full glass each morning.
ANSWER: Hello Fred!
Thank you for your nutrition question. Drinking a glass of vegetable juice is a good start but it does not give you the required 5-9 vegetables we should eat daily. However, there is a wonderful product called Juice Plus which contains the nutrients from 17 different fruits and vegetables in capsule or tablet form. The website to learn more about it is www.juiceblend.com. Juice Plus is the next best alternative if fresh vegetables are not an option. Why not give it a try for 4 months and see the results?

QUESTION: Thanks for your answer. I tried to access the web page you suggested but it was
temporarily not available. I will try again although I am always leery of such
claims. But I am interested in the subject. Thanks again.
AnswerDear Fred,
Sorry about the website not being up. The Juice Plus website should be working now. It is www.juiceblend.com Many of my patients have given me alot of great feedback about it so I pass the information on to others. It is a convenient way to get the nutrients of fresh vegetables into your diet. We are supposed to eat 5-9 daily according to the National Cancer Society. Let me know if you have more questions.
