QuestionHi.
I am a 22 year old guy from England. I've always been lucky in that I can eat
pretty much anything when I want, and not put any substantial weight on...but
recently, I, (and my friends) have noticed that I am getting a bit chubby round
the neck, and my stomach.
Would you be able to suggest some sort of daily food intake that would satisfy
my hunger, but would be healthy and nutrtious. It's all to easy for me to get a
chinese meal, mcdonalds, or a kebab when I want, but usually because I get so
hungry. I have started excercising a lot more too.
Thanks!
AnswerA daily meal plan to satisfy hunger
Dear Matt,
There are two approaches to satisfy hunger on fewer calories.
1. Eat foods with low calorie density. It means that ounce for once, these foods have more fiber, water, or both, while being packed with vitamins, minerals, etc.
It's possible because our bodies control meal volumes rather than calorie intake.
Examples: green leafy vegetables, vegetable soups, and -- surprise! -- potato! Potato is the absolute champion in hunger-killing for fewer calories. If you need a complete plan based on this scientific fact (though the author explains it differently, try the Negative Calorie Diet:

2. Just an opposite approach works, too! It is based on the Fat Burning Index (calculation of fat to carbs to protein in foods) and in 92 percent of cases out of 1300 dieters we watched, it worked wonders:
