QuestionHi,
I went to a new chiropractor yesterday for neck and back pain that I've been having since an accident in 1992. I have had lots of PT, x-rays, MRIs, as well as other chiropractic care for this problem but am not getting better. When he asked me about my history and found out that I have a history of fibroids and cysts, having had a hysterectomy 6 months ago. When I told him I drink a lot of soy milk, he told me to stay away from all soy products and wheat, as this was really hurting me. He gave me 2 holistic medicines to take. They are called ER 911 and Visceral Polarity. I've never heard of these medicines.
Can you give me any advice on this?
AnswerBoth of the products are homeopathic remedies produced by Dr. Scott Walker and are a part of Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) Therapy. In my brief research on your question, it appears that they can be a good aid in treatment of your problem.
Regarding the soy and wheat, your chiropractor may be recommending eliminating those items from your diet to check for food allergies to them. Many people have food allergies that manifest in a variety of different symptoms.
However, soy does provide some phytoestrogens that may be helpful after your hysterectomy. I would recommend asking the chiropractor exactly why he feels that the soy products are detrimental.
Thank you for your question, Rhonda. I hope that my answer was helpful.
