QuestionI am a 20 year old male about 5-11 and weigh roughly 160. i wanted to maintian a healthy looking body i exercise regularly and try to eat healthily. what do you recomend is a good calorie intake per day in order to better my overall physical fitness? and what types of foods do you recomend i eat.

Thank you for your nutrition question. In order to stay healthy I would recommend a more plant based diet which includes fresh fruits( ie.peaches, cherries, watermelon, apples) and vegetables(ie. broccoli, celery, cauliflower). I also recommend whole grains such as oatmeal and bran cereals as well as nuts and beans. You can also check out www.mypyramid.gov where you can create a healthy eating plan by entering your age, gender, and activity level. This is a very helpful tool!
