QuestionHello,
I have a little problem...well its a big problem...I am addicted to candy (I include chocolate bars in this category). I eat like 2 chocolate bars or candies a day! I know it is sooooo bad for me, and I know that is why I am gaining weight right now. When ever I have tried to stop in the past I have always gotten really grumpy and gave up easily! I think a big problem is that I have always been very skinny (and still am) but I am getting older (21) and my metabolism is catching up with me! Please PLEASE help me stop eating candy!!! Thank you
Amy
AnswerAt 21 you are hardly "getting older". Your metabolism should still be in top notch working order! It should NOT be "catching up" up with you that young!
I would start with a healthy diet, regular exercise and water. If you are taking care of yourself and eating properly many times it is easier to control cravings. You need to find other subs for the candy such as fruit, yogurt, fat-free chocolate milk, etc... Healthier foods that can curb your craving and not add all the fat and calories. It is hard to change something you are use to. It takes TIME! I would start with taking care of yourself and living a healthy lifestyle. Start cutting back little by little instead of giving it all up at once.
