Counting Calories?

Question
I'm a 20 year old college girl. I attend the local community college and work about 30 hours a week at the Olive Garden as a server (I do allot of walking and lifting). I currently weigh 135 and I'm almost ft 8. What is the proper daily calorie consumption for me, not too much(I don't want to gain weight) and not to little(I don't want to feel malnourished)?

Answer
Dear Shaina, The average recommended calorie intake for your age group is anywhere from 1800 to 2200 calories per day. This number depends on your metabolism, energy expenditure or exercise, and body mass and is unique for everyone. If you are of normal weight now, then count your calories and figure out the average calories you have been eating and continue eating that amount of calories. Hope that helps, Laura Kraemer,Slimkids.com
