QuestionHi,
My name is Emma i am 22yrs old and overweight.
However i play rugby, once a week, train once a week, and run 1mile three times a week.
However after every training session, the next day i crave carbohydrates, and continually need to eat them.
What can i do to prevent these sever cravings after training?
AnswerHi Emma,
You are craving carbs because you need energy. Possibly you are not eating enough total calories with the workouts and physical activity you participate in.
Why do you only train once a week? 3 days would be better. Make sure there is resistance training as well as cardio.
Try keeping a food diary/journal for one week- be brutally honest! Take a good look at the foods you eat and the calorie intake. 1500 is too low.
What is your height and weight? Let me know after you do a journal.
Thank you,
