QuestionI am 15 years old, i weigh 157 lbs and my daily in-take is around 2500 calories. I was wondering how many calories to eat during the day to start off with. I don't regularly exersise and all i have at home is a tredmill, an exersize ball and 5lb dumbells. My goal is to lose around five pounds over the break. How should i start with exersizing and my daily in-take?
AnswerMelyssa, To start with, try eating about 1700 calories per day. You have to exercise everyday to lose weight. Strive for 30 minutes per day of any exercise. If you have a treadmill, then do the treadmill, or just walk. The more exercise you can do, the more weight you can lose. So add your sit-ups with the ball, and try to lift your light weights at least three times per week. Half of The first 5 pounds lost is usually water weight, so keep up the exercise until you consistently have a 5 pound weight loss it might take a few weeks.
