Questionokay well im 16 years old, 6'1 and about 210lbs.
im mostly concerened about my chest and core.
i need to know what to eat and what not to eat, and what types of excercises I should be foucusing on.
Also, I want to define my arms (biceps&triceps) is doing the standard curl enough?
thank you vey much for your time =D
AnswerDear Adil, There are many parts to your arm, doing curls will increase the size of your biceps, but it will not increase the triceps or the upper arm/shoulder region. You should really do exercises to target your entire arm and body so you don't get out of balance.
To burn calories and burn fat try to do cardio exercises like walking, running, treadmill, elliptical, bike riding for at least 30 minutes everyday. Your diet should consist of foods from all the food groups and should be spaced out in 5-6 smaller meals per day. Try to average about 350 calories per each meal. This will help you to burn the food for energy and when you do exercise, the body will burn fat.
Lean meats, chicken, fish, whole grain breads, low fat dairy, fruits and vegetables, and healthy fats like those in salad oils and nuts, are all considered healthy foods for a teenager. Fast food, pizza, soda, excess bread, cookies, crackers, ramen noodles, pasta, mac and cheese, and fruit juice, are just some foods that should be limited while getting in shape.
