Questionhello! i was wondering if too much fruit is unhealthy for young children. my wife and i disagree on the amount of fruit our little girls eat. she says too much fruit will give them diarrhea and i say as long as they drink plenty of water and other foods they'll be okay. what do you think?

I've never heard of too much fruit giving you diarrhea. Then again, too much of ANYTHING can be bad for you. I know bananas and prunes are good stool softeners, but unless you go overboard, I can't see it being a problem.
If your kids love fruit, give them fruit! That's a whole lot better than candy, cookies, or other junk that kids want to eat now days. Personally, I try to eat as much fruit as I can (one or two bananas, oranges, and apples a day if I can).
