QuestionDear Sir,
I am a breastfeeding mama to a 6 mo old, and I am vegetarian. I was gestationally diabetic with my son, so I ate meat (I found my body craved the protein anyway), but have been glad to go back to vegetarianism. I am down to my pre-pregnant weight, but I am still overweight by 60 pounds. I am not sure if it is b/cs I am breastfeeding or b/cs I am not eating enough protein, but my body has completely plateaued and I am not losing weight anymore. I'll be honest and say that my exercise has been sporadic at best. Do you have any recommendations to help me streamline my diet so that I maximize my food intake to help lose weight? (Btw, breastfeeding is very important to me, so I do not want to compromise milk quality or production). Thank you in advance.
AnswerHello Misty!
That's wonderful that you are breastfeeding - what a great benefit to you and your baby. Because of your history with gestational diabetes and your weight loss plateau,I would recommend a fiber/nutrient drink, Bios Life Slim,- it's a nutrition supplement that helps prevent diabetes (which you are at risk for) by stabilizing blood sugar and causing weight loss.
You won't have to do anything different, just add the fiber drink before two meals a day. It even lowers cholesterol! IT IS TOTALLY SAFE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN, BREASTFEEDING WOMEN and EVEN CHILDREN.
My sister is using it losing weight with more energy. In addition Registered Dietitian Jen Birge also uses it with her patients with much success! Let me know if you'd like more information. You can order Bioslim at www.planetyorgos.com by clicking the bioslim link and remember to use provider #104324201.
Let me know if you have more questions!
