Questionlately, i've been emotionally eating whenever i feel bored or lonely. can you
please tell me what i can do to stop myself from overeating?

That's a great question. I'm glad you asked it because most of us overeat when we are emotional or bored.
The simple answer is something called behavior modification.
What that means is your train yourself to recognize what you are really feeling and deal with those feelings with something else other than food.
For example, if you're bored, you could get out and exercise or pull out a good book.
If you're lonely, call up a friend or relative or go hang out at a bookstore (or Starbucks if you prefer).
What you are doing is replacing a "bad" behavior with a "good" behavior - something that will benefit you rather than make you feel guilty afterward.
Again, that's the simple answer.
If you feel you need outside help with this, there are a number of counselors who can help you and/or you can find a local meeting of Overeaters Anonymous for peer support.
