QuestionI have a very busy day and either miss meals or get fast foods on the go. Everday habits caused masive body expansion. I went from 120lbs to almost 200lbs within a year. Is there a healthy meal replacement for breakfast and lunch? I used to be a very healthy eating person, but only have time for healthy eating at dinner when im with my family. Help please!
AnswerHello Schantel!
Thank you for your nutrition question. Since you are looking for healthy meal replacements and trying to lose weight, I would recommend a program called "Take Shape for Life" weight loss program. It takes the guess work out of couting calories and is very effect for losing weight. The meals are sent right to your door and are delicious. The program is very affordable and includes:
5 Medifast Meals
Choose from over 60 nutritionally balanced Medifast Meals ?shakes, bars, drinks, oatmeals, chili, soups, pudding, scrambled eggs and more. Any combination of 5 Medifast Meals* may be used on your 5 & 1 Plan. *Limit to one bar per day.
1 Lean & Green Meal
Lean: 5-7 ounces of cooked lean meat (e.g., chicken, turkey, fish, beef, pork, lamb, shellfish). Always choose meats that are grilled, baked, broiled or poached (not fried). The serving size will vary depending on the type of meat you choose ?see the links below to our helpful tables. Salt, pepper, herbs and spices may be added if desired. You may also use 1-2 teaspoons of condiments such as ketchup, mustard or barbecue sauce.
Green: Any 3 servings from our Vegetable List, such as broccoli, spinach, eggplant, or tomatoes ?see the links below for our helpful meal option charts and information.
