Questionhello,
i'm 13 years old 5foot 3 and i way 125 pounds!! i am also a dancer and my legs are all muscle except this part on the inside of my thighs, so that leads to my first two questions. 1. does muscle weigh more than fat because of its mass?ifso would that contribute to my weight? second, is there any good way for people my age to lose stomach fat because my stomach isnt terrible but its not very good and i want it to be flatter and more toned and so flabby, same thing with my sides i want to lose that fat.
AnswerDear Celeste, Muscle does weigh more than fat, but pound for pound, it takes up less space. It's very hard to spot reduce fat, you have to lose fat all over by eating healthy and exercising. The fat around your midsection will be reduced as the fat is burned. You can tone the abdominal muscles with crunches. Try to walk daily for at least 30 minutes, and cut out all excess snacks. Hope that helps, Laura Kraemer,Slimkids.com
