QuestionHi there please help. Im on a diet at the moment that requires me to eat every three hours, with little carbs. I have noticed since starting this diet that my urine has become very dark in colour almost a coffee colour and this worries me. I dont want to run to the doctor if i dont need to but if it could be serious i would rather do it. i have had pains in my lower back on the sides where about my kidneys are situated so not sure if this may be causing Kidney problems. plz help its really urgent Thank you so much.
AnswerLeanne, please stop your low carb diet and see your doctor. This doesn't sound right - your kidneys play an important role and you should be checked. Then, I would encourage you to seek help from a dietitian in your weight loss efforts. Using a balanced diet, with the right carbs is your best bet for good health and weight loss. Check out www.realhelpforweightloss.com or www.bioslifeslim.com/jenbirge for healthy alternatives (both my websites). Or you can find a local dietitian to see in person. Best of luck to you,
Jen Birge
