QuestionHi. I am a 19-year old. I am 5'11" and weigh 275lbs. Growing up, my father always had me out in the garage working with him, so i have a lot of muscle on me, lately though, i have been away at college, and I have been trying to lose weight. I try to eat healthy on campus, but it is hard. Also, i find little time apart from schoolwork to exercise. I wear a size 18-20, and most the time, i have to get a tall, because i have long legs. My time this semester is going to be loosened up, aand i want to start going to the campus gym. Do you have any tips on how I can loose weight, but not gain muscle? I know that sounds weird. thank you!
AnswerHi Jenna,
Not gaining weight when you go off to college is one of the biggest challenges in life!
Sneak in any physical action you can - go up a flight of stairs, walk instead of bus, it all counts! An hour in a gym is great, but do what you can eveyday.
Go for whole grains, fresh produce, plain water instead of soda pop. Please see www.premiumfuel.com for more specifics.
