QuestionQUESTION: Hey man! I have a question regarding cooking. If you are lifting weights and workout like I do for example, what is the best way to cook say chicken and meat? Should you boil them? Or can you fry them with some oil or something? What is the best way to get out as much proteine as possible?
ANSWER: Jimmy-
The best way is the way you like to eat it best. Your not going to add or subtract protein by the way you cook it.
That said, frying things at a high temp can be bad. It can change the profile of the fats your using to fry with. Stay below the smoking point of the oil. So if using something like olive oil you;ll have to stay low. If you want to fry it at a high temp get something with a high smoking point like clarified butter, coconut oil, or peanut oil
But hats getting pretty picky
I like meat off the grill

QUESTION: Okay thanks! That gave me a clear view on what's best. But I have another question, regaring fat, if you are training for a competition or just wanna keep adding more muscles than fat, then what is the best way? Boil the chicken? You cannot boil meat huh? Well, I have always thought that if you boil chicken it would be for the best, but I don't know.
Thanks for the upcoming answer and the answer to the last question, keep up the good work!
Answerboiled, grilled, fried, baked or microwaved its still chicken bud. Yes you can boil meat. People boil chicken all the time, pot roasts, etc. Add a bunch of veggies and you have an easy complete meal.
But no its not really any better or worse then other ways. You have to look at what you like best and the calorie needs you have. It could be very well that as an athlete you need more calories, in such adding a good deal of oil to a pan and sauteing come meat and such could help you reach those needs
