Id get your kidney function checked first.
as far as food. do you drink or eat items with a lot of fructose like high fructose corn syrup or sucrose that is loaded in everything soda and most processed foods?? Id steer clear of them for darn sure they can elevate uric acid. Thats likely the case. other then that animal organ tissue is high, liver, hearts etc.. ALso sweet breads, some seafood etc.
Some veggies and meats etc have moderate levels of purine as well which is what your worried about beef, pork, poultry, fish and seafood, asparagus, cauliflower, spinach, mushrooms, green peas, lentils, dried peas, beans, oatmeal, wheat bran and wheat germ. But he main thing I am betting is processed stuff. I would switch to a diet away from procesed grains and carbohyrates. Eat real whole foods, meat, white fish, chicken, cheese, milk, eggs, LOTS of veggies and real fruit, nuts, olive oils, stay away from the breads, sugars, white rice, get plenty of fiber etc.
