QuestionHello. I have been working out and eating right for the past 2 yrs and have lost about 30 lbs. This last October I wanted to lose weight, my last 10lbs for the holidays so I kept a food diary & only ate about 1300 calories a day, worked out an hour a day (weights & cardio) and when the holidays came around I had lost only about 2lbs. I also lost my period for the month of November.
Naturally very disappointed I sort of gave up my healthy eating and ate any cookie, chocolate, any sweets over the holidays and have only gained 3 lbs. I've stopped eating bad and want to finally get to my goal weight. My question is; is there a "diet" pill that might just help me. I'm not afraid to workout and eat healthy, i just want some EXTRA help?
Thanks so much for ANY advice you can give on loosing my last 10.
AnswerI think that the extra help you should look for is from your doctor.
Losing your period is a sign, and not a good one. You might have a hormone imbalance that is making things difficult- Go talk to your doc about thyroid and estrogen imbalances. He or She may be able to shed light on what is going on in your body.
I never recommend diet pills- They all have different side effects and can cause imbalances and issues much worse than those last 10 pounds are worth.
Also, make sure you are changing up your workout routine regularly- If you do the same things over and over again they lose their effectiveness.
