QuestionQUESTION: Hi Rick,
I have gone through yr websote really a good source of information for those who want to lose weight.I have few question to ask would be glad if you reply
*If i excercise in the morning can i have some starch carbs like whole wheat bread after my work out, as i love to whole whaet bread in my breakfast.
*In the beans like soyabean, kidney bean and lentils there is a good amt of protien but they all have carbohydrates. So,when u say morning snack (protein+carb or dailry or friut)+ fat can i eat them as they woould be the source of both protien and carb along with some good fat.
*I m a vegetarian so can i go for cottage cheese and egg white in place of meat as a protien source.
thanks
ANSWER: Sure, there's nothing wrong with whole-wheat bread. Just eat in moderation and keep track of your calories. Just because something is healthy, that doesn't make it low-cal.
Beans are fine. They're a good source of protein and carb.
Dairy is a good substitute for meat, just make sure you're getting anough protein if you want to build muscle.
