Questionhi i am lorenzo i have a problem and this problem is that i am a soccer player and i am very slow. i tried all kinds of things but nothing worked but now i think the reason for that is because of my bodys unproportionality. my upper body is very normal but my lower body especially the butt and quadriceps are very very big and full of fats. is this the reason for why i am slow? how can i let my body to be proportional with same weight distribution? (i want to lose the fats in my lower body and let them be proportional with my upper body and i dont want to lose the strenght in my lower body.)
AnswerLorenzo-
there is no such thing as spot reduction. You will have to try and lose just total body fat if you want to trim fat.
What I would do to get faster is train to get faster. Start doing work that directly related to building speed and your sport. NOT!!! long distance running and jogging but train like your sport is played. Long bouts of slow and low movemnt and short bouts of all out sprinting, start a sprinting routine on HIIT work. Start doing things like 50 seconds of walking / jogging intervalled with 10 seconds of sprinting, once you are good at that and speed doesnt go down then start to up the sprint distance to 15 seconds etc. You have to train speed to get faster. Long distance moderate tyo low intensity jogging / running wont make you faster. Also train weights to make you faster, heavy loads done explosively, also dont forget the upper body strenght as running sprinting uses the whole body
