QuestionHi , I have been going to the gym for about 7 and a half weeks, 3-5 times a day, and i have only lost about two pounds. I am 20 yrs old, 5'4 and weigh about 149.5lbs. I eat an average of 1400 calories a day, and do cardio for about 50 -60 minutes, and weights and stretching for 30 minutes. I do not know what do do anymore, and my goal was to loose about 6lbs before the end of july.
AnswerWell, hopefully if you're including strength training in your routine at the gym, you've BUILT some muscle and BURNED some fat - hence the loss of only 2 pounds. Remember, muscle is heavier than fat, which is why I don't think the SCALE is a good indicator of health. How do your clothes fit? Your jeans will tell you if you're on the right track.
