low white blood cells and high cholesterol

Question
I was recently taken off Lipitor because of high liver enzymes. My bad cholesterol went back up.Would you simply tell me what foods can help lower bad cholesterol ?  Also I would ask you to simply tell me what foods can help raise white blood cell count. Please answer my 2 questions simply and directly. Thank you so very much for your time and expertize.       Joy Carotenuto

Answer
To lower bad cholesterol, soluble fibers can help your body eliminate excess cholesterol: this can be found in oatmeal (eaten several times a day in different forms, like hot cereal, oatbran muffins, cheerios, etc) and also in metamucil.  Many people lower their cholesterol significantly with 3 servings a day of metamucil--start with one serving a day and work your way up until you adjust (some people have a sense of much more gassiness).
There is also a medication called Questran that works the same way and usually does not affect the liver.

There are no foods to my knowledge that can help raise white blood cell count.
