Questionok,i have a real problem and i dont know what im doing wrong. im 29 yrs old,5'2 and about 130 lbs.for about 2 months now ive been working out 6 days a week.i do kenpo(which is like kickboxing)at least 4 days and the rest of the time i do intense yoga and jogging.i eat well, and i try to eat at least 1200 calories a day.but i heard ur not supposed to eat more calories then u burn ( and even with intense workouts i doubt i burn 1200 a day)but i also heard that u shouldnt go lower than 1200.im confused, but the real problem is that i havent lost a pound! im working my ass off!in the beginning i was eating about 800-850 calories a day and i was told that was to few, and that was why i wasnt losing weight. so i slowly upped it to around 1200 and still nothing.please help me. im starting to wonder what the point is.will weight training help? and also do things like protein shakes do anything? and is there anything on the market that can help? the only thing is i have an axiety problem so i cant take anything with stimulants.im working really hard with my diet and exersize, and it just makes me feel so bad that there has been no results, even slow and little ones. please help,i would really appriciate it. thank u.

Yes your doing to much and eating to little, Subsisting for a while on 800 or so cals a day didnt help either. To say more on nutrition I would want to know not so much how many calories you are eating but more importantly from what. I expect thats the problem. I expect your likely basing your intake on low fat high crab foods. Cereals, grains and such. You need to base your intake on protein, ( meat, fish, chicken eggs etc) and fats )butter, oil, nuts, seeds) then get your carbs from REAL unprocessed junk, things like whole veggies and fruits real food.
The anexiety is not helping you need to learn to relax as well. That alone can lead to fat storage you need to learn to be patient and enjoy this process and realize it takes time not weeks or days but months and years and then is a life long decision to maintain it. So you ned to enjoy and make training and eating a way of your life, not exercises and diet which are both negative based.
It sounds like you are doing TO MUCH !! exercises and way to much cardio based stuff, I would drop a lot of that and you should base your training on to start three days of heavy resistance training with big compound moves and free weights, then maybe three session of a cardio activity to start ( the yoga or kenpo, or jogging but he base should be the resistance training which preserves and or build muscle that will firm you up and burn more calories
