QuestionHi! I've been tracking my duet with an app on my phone and when I look at my nutrition it shows a high level or percentage of carbs. I eat a lot of oatmeal. I grew up eating it, it was the only thing my dad could get me to eat for beakfast in the morning and even now ill eat it when I have nothing else or even as a snack surfing the day but is this bad because of all the carbs in it? I don't understand good carbs bad carbs. Thanks
AnswerErin
there are no Good or Bad foods just foods that are bad for ones goals. Oat meal is a nice complex carb source with a good amount of fiber. That's it plain and simple. Are you making progress to your goals? What are you trying to accomplish? Are you bring sure to get a great deal of other foods meat, fish, poultry, eggs, dairy, fruits, and veggies?
