QuestionHi Lela,
I'm a 21 year old female with a question about changing or minimizing leg muscles. I've been playing ball sports for most of my life until recently. This has left me with very bulky leg muscles, which I would like to get slimmer.
I believe I have a healthy lifestyle, I'm vegan and I avoid alcohol, caffein and processed foods as much as I can. I like running, yoga and dancing and I'm active each day for at least half an hour.
I am 165 cm tall and weigh 66 kg with a 67 cm waist.
What should I do to change my leg muscles? The rest of my body I am happy about.
Thank you very much for your advice!
Kind regards,
Helena
AnswerHelena,
There is only so much you can do to change the natural shape of your body. If you look at most dancers, they have larger legs- it is required, if they are going to have the strength to do what they need to do.
Technically you could lose some weight and still be healthy, but you are at a healthy weight now. If you have fat on your legs- then swimming might be a good choice for cardio that won't bulk up your legs- but if they are just muscle- love your strong legs!
Hope this helps,
Lela Simon
