Question18 servings per Hi there,
I'm a member of a website where you can enter what you eat and keep a log, but i must enter its nutrtion facts to do so. the one thing i get confused about is the "Serving Size" and "servings per .." . for example: a 1 pound of Double Stuff Oreos- the Serving Size is for 2 cookies (29g) and there are container. If i have 10 cookies, what number "serving size" or "servings per container" should i put in my food diary? 10?
AnswerBen if a serving size is 2 cookies then the nutrition info on the container is for 2 cookies. If you put that info in the site then if you eat 10 cookies you would put 5 servings. If you ate 3 you would put 1 and a half. If you wanted to customize it then you could divide the info on the container by 2 and enter that info then you would put the amount of cookies you ate for the servings as the nutrition info would be for 1 cookie.
