QuestionDear Nevil,
I am a 27 year old female. I weight 70kg now. 3 years ago i weighed only 52kg and the weight started slowly bulking, mainly due to eating habits. But the worst is now. I have gained 10kg since Sept 2008! and for the last two months I have been regular at the gym and watching what I eat and still no weight loss. I workout for about two hrs 4 times a week. Am even watching what i eat and taking small portions. And yet the scale has not budged even 2kilos.
My instructor has advised me to cut off carbs but I love my rice and pasta too much to do that.
This is very frustrating and affects my state of mind as I feel less happy now. Please Help!!!
Answer
How protein helps weig
Hi Kay,
Unfortunately, your instructor is nearly correct.
You do need to lower carbs BUT increase the fresh veg and high quality protein.
This does not mean you have to quit eating past etc. Just choose wholegrain/brown and have a lot less on your plate compared to the meat and veg.
I've attached a newsletter that explains how the protein helps, from our product range.
All the best
