QuestionHi Glyn
I am a 50 year old meat and potatoes, chips and beer guy.
I dont eat a lot (honestly) but have always carried excess weight on my midsection.
I am quite active and excercise.
In an effort to lose the belly and eae my digestion isssues-gas, bloating, stc. I switched to a low fat diet.
Its been two weeks and I feel better and have lost a pound so I think I will make this my lifestyle, in spite of all the experts who say to go low carb/low glycemic.I think its not just the low fat but maybe I was fat intolerant? as I dont have the old issues as much.
For example I will have a big bowel of rice for supper with a skinless chicken breast. In my old low carb days the rice was a no no but I was always hungry-now I am full until bed with no discomfort.
Anyway, I discovered whey protein shakes as a quick lunch.THen I discoverd I could put any kind of fruit or veggie-which I normally just dont enjoy eating-in with it and 'drink' my fruit and veggies.
Am I still getting the nutrition from them or do you actually have to chew and swallow them?
Also, I stopped using butter and margerine and any processed meats and trimming off visible fat.
Can I still eat eggs? What about cheese? Is dairy still considerd fat or is it just dairy?
Thanks!
AnswerHi Bud,
I have read your question and I have the perfect solution for you!
If shakes and smoothies are what you enjoy, (and believe me I live on them - one for breakfast and one for lunch) then you are going to love this.
Whey protein shakes are great if you work out and need the protein to get into your muscles quick, however, they ARE NOT meal replacements!!!
Go to the website below for what I have found to be the best meal replacement company on the market.
visit - http://www.theherbalifeshop.com/quickstart-plus-weight-management-program.html
This is a meal replacement weight management program that works like nothing I have ever tried in my life. It contains a metabolism boosting beverage drink (better than coffee), a delicioous shake mix and an amazing multi vitamin to increase energy and vitality.
If you order and additional shake (any flavor - at the websire below) you will have 2 meals a day for a whole month - great value in these recession hit times.

You just have a shake for breakfast, one for lunch and sensible balanced meal in the evening. Feel free to add fruit to the shakes and make them as colorful as you like!
If you need anymore info about this program contact me through the email on the site.
Thank you and I hope this helps!!!
