QuestionHello! I need to lose about 50 pounds. I've been a Vegetarian my whole life and I have to admit, I don't exercise at all. I want a slender Eva Longoria/Kate Moss type of physique. I was told that the best way to achieve that is to drastically reduce my caolories. Exercising too much will make me bulky and I do NOT want bulging muscles. Anyway, I've been consuming between 800-1000 calories per day and losing about 4lbs a week. It's been working. However, I get a lot of headaches and I get dizzy sometimes. All I eat are vegetables, fruits, and whole grain breads and pastas. I take vitamins each day so I know I'm getting my daily amount of nutrients. How can I continue to consistantly lose 4 or more pounds a week without feeling dizzy , have headaches, or feel lethargic? Thank you.
AnswerYou cant. Thats the answer your question. Who ever told you such advice should essentially be locked away for attempted murder as they have you in a sense trying to kill your self by starving your self to death and getting no where in the way of nutrients you need to even sustain a healthy life function.
What is the good in looking super lean if it is at the cost of your health, and longevity. You are doing more damage then you eevn know and I urge you to halt NOW.
Those calories are way to low and there is NO way you are getting the nutrients you need. losing four lbs a week as well with what you are eating and no physical activity and likely most of it is muscle, The exact thing you need to be lean and healthy. if not you'll be a pile of slender bone, fat and skin.
Your eating nothing but fruits and veggies which is exactly why your feeling the way you do. Aside from the calories being to low you are in know way getting the protein and fats you need to even live a basic healthy life. There are at least three essential fatty acids, and I do beleive it is now 7 known essential amino acids (protein) (essential meaning you MUST ingest them to live even a basic healthy life let alone optimal, without ingestion in time you will get sick and long enough die) There are NO, I repeat NO essential carbohydrates which is basically all you are eating, Sure veggies and fruit are Great but they should NOT be all we eat, your diet should be based in fat and protein and then add on the carbs to fill your caloric needs.
You need physical activity or you again will get sick weak and eventually DIE. Training , exercise will NOT make you blocky women need to lose this notion, People dont wake up HUGE it takes year of hard training and dedication to get that way and training for that and eating TONS of food purposefully. Training and training hard and heavy will NOT make you blocky and will in fact make you tight lean and slender as long as you dont eat a TON of excess food to lose weight.
Muscle is your metabolism and will make you brun fat, Instead you are losing yours.
I urge you to change your ways NOW and if need be seek help
