QuestionHello,
I would like to know how to take whey protein or casein..
Before workout i take whey protein (24 gram) with dextrose (35 gram,6 teaspoon)in 500 ml of water....15 minutes before workout.
After workout i take whey protein + dextrose(35 gram,5 teaspoon) + creatine in 500 ml of water with vitamin c(500 mg) and vitamin e(400 iu)and antoxyforte capsules (contain spirulina)
Before going to bed in the night..i take casein with milk and vitamin c(500mg) and e capsules(40 iu)
In the morning....should i take whey or casein with water or milk?
Querie is that if i take whey + dextrose + creatine + vitamin c and e capsules and antoxylforte cap(India co) after workout there will be no side effects na?
Before going to sleep casein with vitamin c and e...no problem na?
AnswerI do not recommend the consumption of dairy products. Casein protein is not beneficial to the body and in many cases can only be minimally assimilated. Casein has long been an ingredient in the manufacture of glue.
My opinion is that you would be better advised to consume plant protein to assimilate into muscle tissue. Plant protein has long been proven to develop strong muscles with substantial mass without causing the body to go into an acid state. All meat and dairy products result in the acidification of body tissues which can ultimately result in many medical conditions such as gout, osteoporosis as well as possibly being linked to autoimmune disorders.
Anything that meat and dairy protein can do, plant protein can do infinitely better. Also, although I am not a personal trainer I recommend that before workouts one consumes complex carbohydrates such as whole grains and raw vegetables. Consuming these items causes a chemical reaction in the body that involves the breakdown of fat components in order to provide immediate fuel for the body.
As I mentioned I am no expert in this field. Therefore, if you have received direction from a personal trainer regarding your diet and exercise routine, please follow his/her instructions since she/he is more familiar with your unique physiology and nutritional needs.
