QuestionHi, I was just wondering if there was a way that i could lower my metabolism? I used to have a noticeable figure and now i lost so much weight due to my metabolism and i would like to have my figure back and not be so skinny. How can I decrease my metabolism to gain that weight back? I was 130 three months ago..now im 113. I hate it. Any info would be helpful..thanks

The only problem with lowering a metabolism is that some people end up eating un healthy and start causing health risks. You have to be careful how you lower your metabolism.
One of the maim ways to lower metabolism is to eat high-calorie foods. A high amount of calories will negate your bodies?ability to burn them off quickly. Add more sauces or dressings to your meal, or have extra helpings of food.
You should still use healthy food options, such as those containing vegetable fat. And try to avoid eating food that has zero or low-fat.
Try not to do too much exercise, but if you do then do it at a slower rate so it does not raise the metabolism too much. Also get plenty of sleep; your metabolism is lower when you are asleep
Avoid tea, coffee, and pop or anything else with caffeine in it
With respect to gaining weight you should split your meals up through out the day instead of having three square meals.
Have you seen your doctor about this, or an endocrinologist? You might have an overactive thyroid.
