QuestionMy name is Steven. I am 20. I am 6'1 and weight 230 pounds and have about 20% bodyfat. I plan on doing a exercise routine of jogging/running 30 mins a day.
My problem is that I cannot seem to make a diet that is good. It is either too high in fat or too high in carbs.
Before I list what I eat, I should tell you my parents limit me to what I can get from the store. They let me get 6 things tops. So I can only replace 6 of the items with 6 items.
Things I eat:
2 Tablespoons Natural Peanut Butter
4 Slices Whole Wheat Bread
4 cups 2% Milk
1 Whole Wheat Bagel
Dinner is different each night and I cant cut that cuz parents make it.
and Whole Wheat Thins
It adds up to 1750 calories.
I cant get chicken breasts or canned chicken because parents use that sometimes for dinners.
Hope you can help.
AnswerWell, it's tough to play Russian Roulette with your dinner?all I can do is recommend that you take a look at my web site for some types of foods you can swap in/out of your diet. What you have there doesn't look too bad.
I will say that 6'1 and 230 pounds is not at all overweight. I would focus more on adding some WEIGHT LIFTING to your exercise routine.
